Huzzah, I am now sixteen years of age, and shall be taking my driver's test tomorrow!
And I swear to hash browns that I'm working on the next chapter/part/whatever of Wizards of Ethune I'm just overworked by orchestra and the two different musicals I'm in haaaaahaha
That aside, thanks to everyone here and on Skype who sent me birthday wishes and stuff. :3
On the subject of musicals which are effectively sapping most of my free time, I'm not sure if I've said this here, but I'm currently playing the part of Eddie Flagrante in Zombie Prom and Schroeder in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. So those are kind of important things I'm doing. Beethoven Day is best song. Best.

School and Y and just...

I've been really distracted lately, mostly by the two things listed above. So I haven't been working on Wizards of Ethune. Not that too many people really care, but... Part of that is because I'm busy, and the other part is that school effectively saps any and all motivation I have for anything creative. So odds are when I get the next chapter/part/whatever written, it'll be over a holiday break or something. I already have the plot planned out, so it shouldn't be too much of a chore to write. I just need to wrench my motivation back from the jaws of school.

2. I like to act, and am currently involved in two different stage performances.
3. I have been told time and time again by people I work with in musicals that I can sing well, so I suppose that's a thing.
4. I've played the violin for 5 years.

When given the choice between playing first violin and second violin I will pick second violin, especially if the second violin section needs someone to whip them into shape because they CAN'T PLAY A FUCKING C SHARP EVEN WHEN IT'S HIGHLIGHTED IN BRIGHT YELLOW AND CIRCLED TWENTY TIMES ON THEIR MUSIC.

More Story Retcon

Alright, I'm making even more changes after contemplating some things for the past few weeks. I'm officially removing any affiliation of the story with Wizard101 other than my admitting that it was a source of inspiration. My reason being, is that I've developed my characters, their battle styles, and use of magic far enough away from the source material, that I actually can pretty much remove it from the story, aside from, as I said, admitting it was a source of inspiration.
Why am I doing this? Simple, because I honestly don't want to bog down this story by calling it a Wizard101 fanfic, because the way I'm writing it, it effectively isn't. I've created my own world, my own characters, and my own interpretation of magic for the story. At this point, I'm removing the concept of schools of magic from the story, and instead using magical affinities. I'm going to go back to the characters I've posted and make minor alterations to their descriptions to accommodate for this.
As I said prior to this, I DO NOT claim to have not taken inspiration from Wizard101 at this point. In fact, most of the redesigned character's outfits are Wizard101 inspired.
TL;DR I've simply decided that the story should no longer qualify as a Wizard101 fanfiction, and is probably better off that way.
Anyways, off of that subject, I have decided upon a new title for the story. From here on, its name is "The Wizards of Ethune". I sincerely hope that this time I can maintain the motivation to keep the story going.
